Waking up to stunning sea views was a dream. The breakfast selection was fresh and delectable, and the warmth from the staff made us feel at home.

Navigating the narrow road to the hotel was a bit of a thrill—definitely not for the faint-hearted drivers seeking ease on their journey.

The road down is narrow and steep!!! The room cleanliness needs attention. sand on the floor should be swept daily!!! It shouldn't feel like I'm tidying up after a service!!!

We enjoyed a delightful four-night stay with stunning ocean views from our room. Dining at the beachfront restaurant was a highlight, especially the fresh seafood. Don't miss the sunrise from the balcony—absolutely breathtaking! Just a suggestion, perhaps softer pillows and a better TV reception would enhance the experience.

We had a fantastic 2-night stay in the King Room with Sea View, where the decor was beautiful and the ocean views breathtaking. The food in the restaurant was top-notch, from the delightful breakfast to our evening meals, creating a memorable experience. Every interaction with the staff was warm and personal, particularly the lovely lady at reception who made our visit even more special. The only improvement would be to have more varied vegetarian options on the menu.

Our stay in the King Room with Sea View was unforgettable, especially with the stunning views from our spacious room and that plush king size bed. We took full advantage of the beach access for some relaxing sunbathing and enjoyed a soothing massage nearby, which was a highlight. Just a heads up, the bathroom door had a little trouble staying shut, but it didn't ruin our awesome experience! 🌊

I stayed in the King Room with Balcony for 4 nights at Tolcarne Beach Colonial. The location is incredible. Directly on the beach, I loved waking up to the sound of waves. The room was spacious and clean. The balcony offered stunning views. Breakfast was delicious and freshly made each morning. The staff impressed me with their friendliness and prompt service. Room service was also available when I didn't feel like dining in the restaurant, and the quality was great. I noticed some cleanliness issues in the room. Sand wasn’t swept from the floor, and the bath towels weren't properly arranged each day. These small details felt out of place given the room's price. The surrounding area of Newquay, especially the nearby town, felt a bit neglected with litter and empty buildings, which detracted from the experience. Despite that, the immediate beach experience is worth it. I’d definitely consider a return for the wonderful beach access.
